Production & Programming Administrator

 

We have an exciting opportunity for an organised yet flexible individual to join our team as Production and Programming Administrator. This role supports the administration of all areas of production and programming and although the role is part time it provides vital support to ensure the smooth operation of a range of activities within the theatre programme. The role will suit someone who enjoys theatre and is equally capable of working in a team and on their own, using their own initiative. If you have a good administrative skill set and/or experience of producing, then this role would be ideal. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds who meet the criteria found in our application pack.

Salary: In the region of £10,500 pa

Hours of work: 25 hrs per week, Mon – Fri. Some evening and weekend work will be required. Rota of hours to be agreed.

Heritage Officer

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and driven individual to join our team to deliver the Theatre Royal’s 50th Anniversary project supported by The Heritage Lottery Fund of the National Lottery. This is a part time post and the role will ensure the delivery of the Heritage components of this project ensuring we successfully engage people at all stages, professionally and as volunteers and participants in accordance with the bid to the Heritage Lottery Fund.

The post will start Dec 2014/Jan 2015 and finishing Dec 2015 and applications are welcome from those engaged or wanting to work in the Heritage sector. Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds is a Grade 1 listed building and a National Trust property.  We are also a fully operational theatre providing a year round programme of drama, music, dance and comedy.  For suitably qualified applicants this project is the opportunity to take a lead on a high profile heritage project within a major arts organisation.  For applicants with less experience this is a great opportunity to be part of an arts and heritage project, develop key skills and experience and gain a greater understanding of practice.

 

Fee or Salary: £7800

Hours of work: An average of 8-16 hours per week depending on experience. Some evening and weekend work will be required.

Place of work: Whilst not all activities relating to this project will be based at Theatre Royal, it is expected that this post-holder work from an office base within Theatre Royal, Bury St Edmunds and as part of the wider staff team.
