Whether it’s acting, directing, writing, marketing, administration or technical – you can do it here!
This post will give you the chance to spend time at the Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds over the course of a year, during which time you’ll have the chance to explore your own creative skills and receive industry mentoring and guidance from theatre professionals.
If you are interested in any of our Youth Theatre groups or our Young Associates programme please read through the Young Associate Application Pack and contact Connie Dent, Associate Artist, Youth Theatre by email or call 01284 829933.
These workshops are designed to give children aged 6-11 the opportunity to explore different theatrical styles & skills within a working Theatre during the school holidays. Each workshop has a unique theme and gives children the opportunity to develop key life skills, play with theatrical devices, make new friends and most importantly, have fun!
“Our daughter wanted to try acting and developed an interest through school and for me as a parent it was an amazing experience in confidence building,” Myths & Legends workshop parent.
“Our children loved the workshop – keep doing it!” Journeys workshop parent.
The workshops are great for children who are thinking about joining our Youth Theatre groups and would like a taster for the kind of work we do or just a bit too young to join in with our Young Company shows but would like to get involved. Below are all workshops we have coming up for this academic year:
Come and be creative, act, sing, move, make new friends and improve your confidence!
All workshops are priced at £35 per person per day. Book all days within one theme and receive 20% off.
