Once Upon A Festival is our annual festival celebrating great work for families and young people

Once Upon a Time there was an idea to create a Festival for Children that spanned the region and engaged children in schools, venues and as many other unusual places as we could find. We wanted all children to have access to the best theatre out there. After lots of hard work and funding applications and the promise of help from organisations in Bury St Edmunds, Chatteris, Lowestoft, Norwich, Southwold and Thetford and artists from across the UK — Once Upon a Festival 2017 was born! This is the third year of the Festival and it’s going to be awesome!
