Box Office Assistant

As the face of the organisation, the Box Office is an integral part to the Theatre’s overall operation. We are looking for individuals with excellent customer service skills to fill a vacancy of 22.5 hours per week. Applicants looking for fewer hours will be considered as part of a job share, please make this evident on your application. Please find out more about in the role in the application form.

Administration Officer

This role supports the administration of all areas of the organisation. The role provides vital administrative support For IT, HR, Legal and Compliance to ensure the smooth operation of a range of activities within the Theatre.

New Non-Executive Directors

The Board is seeking new non executives, initially to be appointed for three years but with the prospect of a second three year term.  The roles are unpaid.

As is the case with most small charities, as well as performing a governance role, trustees are expected to provide practical assistance and support to the executive team in areas in which they are qualified to do so.

Volunteers

Do you love theatre and want to learn more from behind the scenes? Enjoy meeting new people and have some spare time during the week? Then Theatre Royal has the perfect opportunity for you! We are looking for volunteers to join our friendly distribution team to help with the following:

  • Distributing flyers to the general public in the town centre
  • Visiting the local shops, eateries and businesses on our distribution list to deliver posters and flyers
  • Delivering leaflets to local schools on our distribution list (if transportation allows)
  • Helping to prepare mailings for customers when necessary
