Youth Theatre Assistant Leader (Part Time)

We are looking for a Youth Theatre Assistant Leader to help run the weekly Youth Theatre sessions.  This post would be an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate or someone who is on their first steps into drama facilitation and is looking to extend their experience.  It is also suitable for those who have aspirations to become a Workshop Leader and Youth Theatre Director in the future.  Up to 2 Youth Theatre sessions a week amounting to 4.5 paid hours.  You may be required to assist on any of the following sessions:

Monday 4pm – 6pm

Wednesday 4.45pm – 9.45pm

Thursday 6.15pm – 8.45pm

Saturday 10.15am – 12.15pm

Do you love theatre and want to learn more from behind the scenes? Enjoy meeting new people and have some spare time during the week? Then Theatre Royal has the perfect opportunity for you! We are looking for volunteers to join our friendly distribution team to help with the following:

  • Distributing flyers to the general public in the town centre
  • Visiting the local shops, eateries and businesses on our distribution list to deliver posters and flyers
  • Delivering leaflets to local schools on our distribution list (if transportation allows)
  • Helping to prepare mailings for customers when necessary
